Uxbridge Arena - Hockey and Ice Skating - An Uxbridge Tradition
Uxbridge Arena is combination community center and arena with twin pads. The community centre has a capacity of 435 and is used for community functions, weddings, anniversaries meetings and sales events. There is a full kitchen and a bar available for the various events.
The twin pad arena provides facilities s for both public skating times as well as team times and is home to the Uxbridge Bruins. (For team stats visit Ontario Hockey Association)
Uxbridge is also blessed with several ponds that provide a a great opportunity for a less structured approach to one of Canada's national pastimes.

We Canadians grow up on skates and especially outdoor ponds! I love your pond picture...brought back so many memories.
My two brothers and all three of my sons played hockey (as did my Dad and my Mom when they were young), so needless to say I've spent many hours in hockey rinks.....is there anything more Canadian than hockey?

Kathy, My son played ice hockey for a time. I remember sitting and watching and absolutely terrified that he was going to get hurt! He loved it though and stayed with it for quite a while.
Jo - while not a big fan of hockey I remember sitting with my father and watching Hockey Night In Canada on a Saturday Night and attending a few of my nephews games.
